Gola Mae Merrifield Parsons, born Dec 13 1888 in 10 Mile Fork Smithfield, Wetzel County, West Virginia, and died July 13 1985 Greene County, Greeneville, Tennessee, and buried in Hardesty I.O.O.F Cemetery Wyatt, Harrison County, West Virginia.

She married at her home on Harter Hill, April 8 1914 to Ercel Dean Parsons.

Born to Ercel Dean and Gola Mae Merrifield Parsons ight children:

Three Sisters: Mrs. Sally Brammer, Rose Mills, and Bell Shook

Five Brothers: Harry Merrifield, Gordon Merrifield, Lester Merrifield, Golf Merrifield, Mac Merrifield

Harry and Sally were twins. Mac was killed during World War I.

The children of Ercel Dean and Gola Mae Parsons attended the United Brethren Church, Pine Bluff, West Virginia.
