John Wilson George, born in Preston County, WW
on Sept 8, 1884 to William Oliver George (born abt.
1831 Scotland) and Mary Ninevah Paugh (born April
4, 1843 in MD).
The boys in the photo are sons William and
Orville.
John married Beatrice Flossie Smith, born April
17, 1892, in Hardy County, WV. They had the following children: William,
Robert, Orville, Elmo, Doyle, Cleal Harper and Emma.
John died in Flintstone, Allegany County, MD on
March 17, 1936. He died while cutting a tree, which fell and split his skull. He
lay in a coma for two weeks and then died of the injuries.
