Lewis Howard Hardenbrook and Elizabeth Leach Hardenbrook

Lewis Howard Hardenbrook was born in Bernards, NJ in 1806. He served in Mexican War and with the Union Forces in the Civil War. He was a carpenter. 

Elizabeth Leach Hardenbrook was born in 1810 in Litchfield Conn. She died in 1889 on a visit to Indiana. 

He died at Rippey, Iowa, in 1895 from gangrene. 

John Huse Hardenbrook was their son.
