Caroline Slaughter was born 2 Feb 1841 in OH or IN, daughter of William Logan
Slaughter & Isabella McLean Slaughter.
Caroline married G.W. Patterson (1831-1905) 8 Jan 1858 in Miami Co., IN.
They had nine children. It is believed that Caroline died during
childbirth with her 10th child, 9 Aug 1879 in Stanton Co., NE.
She is buried in Hoosier Memorial Cemetery, near Stanton, NE.
