Barnard Brooks (1833-1929), seated in front of him is his wife, the submitter's
great grandmother, Catherine "Kate" Ann Carris Brooks (1845-1928).
Left to right, standing, 4th gentleman is Lewis V. Carris (1840-1916),
brother of Catherine "Kate" Ann Carris. Seated in front of him is his
wife, Harriet "Hatt" Sophia Brooks Carris (1847-1941) who was a sister of George
Barnard Brooks.

Photo taken before sometime Lewis Carris died in 1916. The Carris and Brooks
families lived in Reno County, Kansas and were farmers, but it is not known
where the photo was taken.
