UNKNOWN GERMAN MILITARY PHOTO (likely Speyer, Germany)

UNKNOWN GERMAN MILITARY PHOTO (likely Speyer, Germany)

This photo is likely another that was sent to Adolf Brietsch in Speyer, Germany during WWI. The back has some German writing on it. But, again, I don't read German. So about the only thing I can say, is two of the three Germany Military Photos, I'm posting, appear to be signed by someone named Joseph. I am in possession of these photos because my father, Hans Wilhelm Fulster, and his wife, Hertha Brietsch, have passed in Florida, USA. Hans was born & raised in Schleswig Holstein, Germany. His wife, Hertha was from Speyer, Germany. I believe these photos belonged to Hertha Brietsch, from Speyer. She was an only child and never had any children of her own. But, often said she still had many relatives in Speyer.

I don't read, speak or write German. But, perhaps someone can read the sign, which might tell us more. I'm assuming that it may be WWI. But, there's no information on the photo to verify my guess. This photo came to me from my father and step mother's possessions, when they passed. My father was Hans Wilhelm Fuester from Schleswig Holstein area. His wife was Hertha Breitsch, from Speyer, Germany. Both passed in Florida, USA.

UNKNOWN CLOWNING GERMAN MILITARY POSTCARD (sent to Adolph Breitsch in Speyer, Germany)

UNKNOWN CLOWNING GERMAN MILITARY POSTCARD (sent to Adolph Breitsch in Speyer, Germany)

I will load a photo of the back of this picture, which is a post card. I do not read or speak German, with the exception of very few words. I believe that Adolph Kreitsch is a relative of my step mother, Hertha Brietsch, from Spyer, Germany. That is where Hertha was born and she passed in Florida, USA. She was an only child and had no children of her own. But, she always said that she had many relatives still in Speyer. This seems to have been sent by someone named, Joseph to Adolf Brietsch in Speyer.

UNKNOWN WIESBADEN WOMAN (Possible names of Wiese, Hansen, Moller, Fulster, etc. in Schleswig Holstein)

UNKNOWN WIESBADEN WOMAN (Possible names of Wiese, Hansen, Moller, Fulster, etc. in Schleswig Holstein)

This portrait was taken in Wiesbaden, Germany, by Mondel & Jacob. The woman bears a striking resemblence to Katherine Wiese and is also wearing a similar head covering. I believe this may be one of her sisters, who was also a Lutheran Missionary, out of Meldorf. But, which sister? The families were quite large in those days. That family lived in Dithmarschen, Schleswig Holstein, Germany.

UNKNOWN UHLAND MAN (Possible names of Wiese, Hansen, Moller, Fulster, etc. in Schleswig Holstein)

This portrait was taken in Uhland, Germany. There is no further identifying information.

UNKNOWN STUTTGART FAMILY (Possible names of Wiese, Hansen, Moller, Fulster, etc. in Schleswig Holstein)

UNKNOWN STUTTGART FAMILY (Possible names of Wiese, Hansen, Moller, Fulster, etc. in Schleswig Holstein)

This portrait is of a related woman and child and their dog. It was taken in Stuttgart, Germany, by F Brandseph Photography. There is a handwritten number (106262) on the back. I don't know what that number is for. No more identifying information.
