The Jaycees had their own radio show called, "Mr. Jaycee Reports". This show
broadcasted every Saturday at 7:00 pm on WKBN.

The Youngstown, OH Jaycees of the 1950s did many various activities in the
community. Some of their projects:
- Sports & Handyman's Show at Idora Park
- Mile of Dimes Drive
- Teen-age Driving Rodeo
- Clean-up, Paint-up, Fix-up Week
- Junior Golf Tournament
- Christmas Shopping Tour for Needy Children
- Model Airplane Contest
- Talent Parade of Area Youths
- County-Wide High School Rifle Tournament
- One Day Fishing Tournament
- Sponsors of Christiani Brothers Circus appearance in Youngstown area
Edward J. Hulme was the President of the
Youngstown Jaycees from 1954-1955. He worked as an "Executive Assistant" for
the Youngstown Area Chamber of Commerce.
Irving Loewit was the President of the
Youngstown Jaycees from 1958-1959. He was an self-employed optometrist in
Girard, OH.
Walter Grey McKenrick Jr. (1917-2000) was a
member of the Jaycees, Western Star Lodge No. 21 (Youngstown, OH), and Aut-Mori
Grotto. He was a salesman for Strausbaugh Motor Company in Youngstown, OH. He
was later employed by Moore-Peterson Insurance Agency.
The first man to the right of this photo may be the announcer for the radio
station WKBN. WKBN was CBS' radio station in Youngstown, OH in the 1950s.
