This slipper factory was located in downtown Columbus, OH during the 1950s-1970s and possibly longer. The company Christmas party was a big deal every holiday season and everyone could bring one guest. Gordon Zacks ran the place. The downtown location eventually closed when the owners decided to ship the work to Mexico. You can still find Deerfoam slippers for sale today in fine stores. The submitter's grandmother is shown in the this photo and used to be a product inspector.
