Samuel Loar Sherman of Licking County Ohio, son of John Sherman and Eliza Loar Sam, was a barber and a circus trapeze performer at one time he was the oldest working barber in Licking County Ohio; he worked until he was 84 years old and charged only a quarter for a haircut. Everyone loved old Sam the barber.
