McCray and 12 friends at Sulphur Springs near Columbus on June 29, 1901. William
Kern McCray, born in Bear Lake, PA on July 7, 1883, is the young man
lying in the laps of the women at the front of the picture; his eventual wife, Winnifred
Carrie Wheelock, born in Columbus, PA on Feb 28, 1887, is the young woman
in white in the lower left looking somewhat away.
Names of the 14 people written on the back of the original photo in pencil are
somewhat legible. They include:

name is written in small case)
