Adronian Judson Armagost and Carrie Baldensperger

Adronian Judson Armagost and his second wife, Mrs. Carrie Baldensperger, a widow who had three daughters.  They lived in North Clarendon where Jud was in the oil business.

Adronian Judson Armagost was born in Clarion County on 29 Mar 1848, the son of Rev. I. C. and Elizabeth Stahlman Armagost.  When Jud was a boy the family moved to Troy Township where Jud lived until about 16 when they moved into Plum Township.   

When only 16, Jud enlisted in the 112th PA Volunteers and was in seven Civil War battles. 

Jud's first wife, Margaret Jane Grove, died 30 Nov 1894, leaving him the father of four children: Lizzie Armagost Dunn, Will Armagost,  Nellie Armagost Nelson, and Grant Armagost.  

Adronian Judson Armagost died of apoplexy in North Clarendon 10 Nov 1908.
