Veteran, serving in Co. B 46th Reg. V.R.C., Atlanta Campaign under command
of General Joseph Hooker. He laid along Nashville and Chattanooga Railroad tracks
abt eight miles below Nashville for 6 to 8 weeks with fever before he was put in the ranks for the famous march to Atlanta,
