Jessie died in October 1918
when her only child, Boleslaw "Bill' Bankowski, Jr.
was ten months old.
Bill Sr. went back to Poland
when his son was four years old where he lived until the war broke out in
Europe. Then Bill Jr. returned to America and after
he earned enough at his job bought a cemetery plot in St. Stanislaus R.C.
Cemetery and had his mothers remains moved there.
