Blasius Pfister was born 3 Feb 1795 in Bittelbronn Germany. He married
Maria Anna Beuter 17 Jul 1821 in Bittelbronn. In 1853, he brought his family to America and settled in Carrolltown, Cambria County. His four sons
- Roman, Gottlieb, Vitus, & Erhardt - took up residence in Cresson, Nicktown, Carrolltown, and Johnstown as they married.
Blasius died 3 Mar 1876 on his son's farm near Carrolltown. Church records indicate he is buried in St. Benedict's Cemetery in Carrolltown, but there is no grave marker or record of the grave site.
