Chestnut Ridge School Clay Twp 1913

Chestnut Ridge School which was located near West Sunbury, Clay Twp., Butler, Pa. The photo was taken in 1913.

Back row, center, with the large white bow is Annie Belle Sherwin, b. Mar 22, 1898, d. Jan 23, 1987, m. Oct 30, 1919 to Milford V. Myers.

Back row, third girl from right is Annie's sister Ruth Gertrude Sherwin.  She m. William Hackbarth.

Front row, fifth from right, (the first girl) is Cleo Ralston, who m. Charles Perry. 

This school was also located near a stop on the railroad called Sherwin Station and is now a private residence.
