Shaffer, Caroline Miller, Their Descendants of Dry Ridge (Mt. Tabor), Red Bank Twp., Armstrong Co., PA., 1984 Christian Miller, was born 29 Aug 1813, or else 14 Aug 1813. Gravestone says one thing and family records another date, in Northampton Co., PA. He died 24 Nov 1893, at his home in Dry Ridge, Redbank Twp., Armstrong Co., PA. He was the son of Bernard Miller & Maria Shick, who had settled near New Bethlehem, PA. Catherine Mohney, was born 21 Mar 1821, in Dry Ridge, PA., she died 28 Sept. 1905, near New Salem, Redbank Twp., Armstrong Co., PA. She was the daughter of Isaac Mohney and Eve Shaffer Mohney. Eve remarried a Mr. Procious. The original of this photo was a very large charcoal sketch.
