Grandchildren of Cressie and her first husband, Ira
Dwayne Larkins. Norma and Howard Palmer are the children of Eva
Larkins (1899-1994) and her husband Harold Palmer
(1898-1978). Howard died before 1994.
Ruby, Albert, Helen, Ernest and Hazel St. John
are the children of Iva Larkins (1901-1990) and her
husband Paul St. John (1887-1950). Ernest
was born 30 Aug 1925, and died 28
Jan 1991. He is buried in Jervis Cemetery. Alberta was born 30 Dec 1932, and
died 30 July 2001 in Eugene OR, where she had lived for many years. The others
are still living.
Photo taken probably in 1936 or 1937 on the St. John family farm in Jervis,
which is on Route 408 east of Cambridge Springs in Crawford County. Cressie
lived in Mill Village, Erie County.
Cressie was married three times. Her first husband,
Ira Dwayne Larkins, was born 31 Aug 1879 in Sturgis
Corners, Crawford County. They married 9 Mar 1898 in Union City, Erie County.
They divorced in 1907, and Ira went west where he married three more times. He
died 21 June 1957 in San Bernardino, CA.
Cressie's second husband was Joseph
Burton Henry. He was born 18 Feb1872 in Le Boeuf township, Erie County.
They married 26 Feb 1908 in Union City. They were the parents of one son, Dallas
Henry, who was born 25 Oct 1908 and died 4 July 1955 in a car accident.
Joseph and Cressie divorced in 1911, and Joseph died in Detroit, MI.
Cressie married Oel M.
King on 14 May 1925 in Mayville, NY. He was born 22 May 1874 in Eureka, CA,
and died 16 Feb 1929.
Cressie died 9 July 1959, and is buried next to
her third husband, O. M. King, in Mill Village
Cemetery.
