Critchfield School, Springfield Twp, Fayette Co., PA, about 1894.

Property for the school was donated in 1854 by James Critchfield (1788-1873) and his second wife, Sarah Grimm. Ruins of the school are located off Route 653 near the Critchfield Christian Missionary Alliance Church east of Normalville.

Ethel Eva Johnson (1888-1984), is the seventh child  in the first row.
