David McCracken

David McCracken was born on Jan 2, 1799 in
Fallowfield Township, Washington County, PA. He died Jan 25, 1875 in Cameron
District, Marshall County, WV. He is buried in the Lazear Cemetery,
Ryerson, Richhill Township, Greene County, PA. He was married to Mary
"Polly" Kraul or Crall.
His grandfather, David McCracken, born 1745 in
County Downs, Ireland died May 13, 1836 in Washington County, PA at 91 years old.
Andrew McCracken was one of his brothers. David
McCracken married Rebecca Cooper. They
were the parents of four sons: Thomas,
unknown, unknown and Joseph.
Joseph married Hanna unknown. Joseph
and Hanna had: Alexander McCracken, b.
Mar 4, 1782; David, photographed above;
Margaret; and Sarah.
Alexander married Lavinah
and became the parents of: John, Joseph, Alexander,
Sarah, Hannah, Hester, Lavinah, Mary, Thomas and Abraham.
