Dr. Paul Cunningham Submitted by William Cunningham, grandson Dr. Paul Eli Cunningham b. May 2, 1886 d. February 9, 1950. He is buried in Clintonville Cemetery. Photo taken approximately 1928 at Niagara Falls, NY. Paul earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pa in 1910. He started his medical practice in Clintonville, Pa and was a real old fashioned horse and buggy doctor until moving to Franklin, Pa in 1919. He would tell his daughter, Lois, about making night calls in the country. He would be so tired that he would fall asleep and the horse would take him home. Even though he was a General Practice Doctor, his specialty had to be Obstetrician. By 1949, he had delivered 6,300 babies.
