George McKean

 George McKean, born 1768, PA, parents James and Mary Johnston McKean, died 8 Sept 1860. 

George married his first wife, Mary Johnston, daughter of James and Ann Johnston in Westmoreland County, PA in 1798, and they had 10 children. They removed to Beaver County about 1800, and settled in Little Beaver Township, where George operated a tannery for over 40 years.

Mary died in 1828, and George remarried to Elizabeth Smith, and with her had another seven children, making George the father of 17 children.
