Harold Traister Harold Traister was from New Bethlehem, PA. He graduated from Clarion State Normal School (later called Clarion State Teachers College) in 1923. He later received his doctorate at taught at State Teachers College in California, PA. The Sequille '23 had this to say about Harold: "Yes, he surely can orate. He uses so many long words we have to carry a dictionary around with us to understand what the chief topic of conversation really is. We know that brilliant future is awaiting him, as a superintendent of some large school system, or who knows but he is aiming for the President's chair."
