John Skelly was born Mar 6, 1882 in PA. He died
Dec 13, 1966 and is buried at St. Ambrose's Catholic Church in Cresaptown, MD.
John was married to Lotta Myrtle Chilcott. He was
the son of John W. Skelley, born Dec 1835 in PA and
Rachel Thomas, born Feb 1844, Bedford County, PA.
John and Rachel had 16 children. They were living in Bedford County for the
census of 1870 and 1880. They moved to WV and then Allegany County, MD.
Harry Chilcott is the brother of John's wife Lotta.
