Jacob Dietrich Daubenspeck

Jacob Dietrich Daubenspeck, age 78, died at his home in Bruin at 4:15 yesterday afternoon from a long illness due to infirmities incident to age. He was one of the oldest residents of the vicinity.

Mr. Daubenspeck was born in Parkers township December 16, 1848.On May 20 1872, he married to Miss Martha Cambell, who survives him. Mr. Daubenspeck lived on a farm in Parkers township until 28 years ago whe the family moved to Bruin.

He was a member of the Reformed church of Fairview until seven years ago when he united with the Methodist Episcopal church in Bruin, of which he has been a consistent and valued member.

Besides his widow, Mrs Martha Daubenspeck, Mr. Daubenspeck is survived by two sisters, Mrs Mary Gibson of Butler and Mrs Susan Harper of Kittanning.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock tommorrow afternoon at Bruin Methodist church. Rev. R. S. Naylor, will be charge.

Burial will be made in Bear Creek cemetery.
