Jesse Joseph Harclerode and Minnie Brown Harclerode

Jesse Joseph Harclerode with his mother, Minnie Brown Harclerode. 

Jesse was born Aug 22, 1897 in Everett, Bedford County, PA.  He was the son of Samuel Francis Harclerode (1865-1941) and Minnie Brown Harclerode (1872-1948).  He served as an Army Private in Co. B 2 ENGR TNG Regiment during World War I.  Jesse died Apr 21, 1957.

Photo taken in Monessen, Westmoreland County, PA about 1917.

A local Monessen Newspaper had the following info about Jesse (date of newspaper unknown): 

"Jesse J. Harclerode enlisted in the 34th Engineers at Omaha, Nebraska and he is now stationed at Jefferson Barracks, Missouri."
