Margaret Ann Shiry Bloom (1822-1889), was the
daughter of John Shiry, Sr. and Mary "Polly"
Shaffer, and sister to Simon Jonas Shiry.
Both she and Peter Bloom, Sr. lived in Armstrong County until 1844, when they went by covered wagon to Centrepark, near
Moorepark, MI and settled with their three eldest sons who had been born in Armstrong Co. Story goes they had but $.03 when they arrived there, but he became prosperous and they had a lovely two-story brick home.
