Marie Thompson Zeitler Submitted by Leona Hilliard, granddaughter of Marie Thompson Zeitler, and daughter of Marilyn Betty Zeitler Marie Thompson Zeitler born 1898, Curwensville; died 1972, Butler; was the daughter of Jessie B. Thompson and John L. Dyer of Curwensville, Clearfield Co. She married Alden Hetrick Zeitler of Punxsutawney in 1923. They had 3 children: Richard (b. 1925 d. June 1997 FL), Marilyn Betty (b. 1923, resides in FL), Muriel Joanne (b. 1932, resides in FL). Marie Thompson Zeitler began working at Pullman Standard during World War II and retired in 1963.
