Mona Taylor Smith Mona Taylor was from Marienville, PA. She graduated from Clarion State Normal School (later called Clarion State Teachers College) in 1923. She later married C. R. Smith and lived in Marienville. The Sequille '23 yearbook had this to say about Mona: "There are not enough words to express what we think about our Mona, who's as quick as a wink; But it causes the smiles, which are surely not few.
