Peter Emmanuel Best Family

Peter Emmanuel Best, son of John Best, Jr. and his wife Leah Fink of Clinton Co., formerly Centre Co., served in the Civil War, along with his brothers Samuel and Abraham.

He married Sarah Catharine VonNeida / Vonada.  They had seven children.  Their daughter, Leah Sybilla Best married Joseph Adam Confer born in Greenburr, son of William C. Confer and Abbie Kahl. Leah and Joseph were the parents of three children: Sara Elizabeth, Mary Katharine and William Adam.
