Reverend Issac S. Freeman, born sometime around
1890, passed sometime around 1961. In 1924 he was the founding pastor of
Ebenezer African Methodist Episcopal Church, Aliquippa, Beaver County, which became
in his home. The first hymn was "I Love Thy Kingdom Lord" The First
Lady, Sister Ollie Freeman prayed the first prayer.
Presiding Elder N.O. Temple supervised the work of
the new congregation.
