Sarah Dales Moorhead, daughter of Alexander
Thompson and Mary Jane Hutchison Moorhead, was born at Taylorsville,
Indiana county, June 29, 1865, and was married at her home, in Indiana, to William
A. Neil, of Clarion, PA, January 20, 1892.
Mr. Neil is one of the leading merchants of
Clarion. He is also a member of the Monessen Novelty Company, Monessen,
Westmoreland County. To them were born three children -- Mary
Janet, Nov. 10, 1892; James Moffett, July 6,
1894, and Fred Alexander Moorhead, September 6,
1896.
Notice obtained though the Historical and Genealogical Society of Indiana
County, PA dated Nov. 4, 1910:
Mr. A.T. Moorhead and Mrs. Bert Moorhead
returned on Thursday from Clarion, where they attended the funeral of Mr.
Moorhead's daughter, Mrs. W.A. Niel.
