Shirley Jane's first outing was to Grandfather and Grandmother Doverspike when she was six weeks old.

Her first Christmas was spent at her home in New Bethlehem Pa.

Shirley Jane celebrated her first birthday in DuBois Pa. We had a chicken dinner and a birthday cake with one candle on it. At that time we lived at 423 So. Main St.

Important Events

Shirley went to Hartford, Conn. with her mother to aunt Zula's Jan. 16, 1926 and arrived home Feb. 2, 1926.

Shirley Jane was exposed to nine day measles while at Hartford. They broke out Feb. 12 1926.

Shirley had her Tonsils and Adnoids removed at the Maple Avenue Hospital October 4 1927. The doctors were H. C. Hughes and W. C. Beals

Shirley, Harold and their mother went to Royal Oak Michigan in July 1930 and back in August. Were visiting aunt Zula and family.

Had whooping cough the Spring of 1931

Had chicken pox in Oct. 1932

Shirley Jane Doverspike, born December 6, 1924 died November 8, 1966 daughter of Wade and Naomi Doverspike.
