Woodland Elementary School Class of 1940-41Submitted by Carol Wood Photo saved for Carol's husband, Gary Wood by his aunt Phoebe Rowles Graham. Gary is the son of Elizabeth Jane "Betty" Rowles in the third row and the grandson of Mable Duke and Andrew Rowles of Woodland. His ancestors have lived in the Woodland area for years. Tom Goon lived with Bubba Herbert. Harold Lansberry was the son of Jesse "Hoody" Lansberry. Jack Karchner became postmaster. The school has long since closed, but the building is still there.
