George P. Amy and Abram Amy, Jr.

Submitted by Thomas O. Press, great grandson of George P. Amy

Abram Amy Sr. and his wife Laura sold land in Crown Point, Essex Co. NY in 1838 and moved , with their family, to Rockdale Twp, Crawford Co., Pa and settled at Brown Hill, near Cambridge Springs. They are both buried in the Chapinville Cemetery.

George Palmer Amy, left, and Abram Amy Jr., sons of Abram Amy Sr. and Laura Smith were born in Essex County, NY.

Abram Amy Jr. was born 11 Jul 1832 and died 31 Dec 1853, and is buried in the Miller's Station Cemetery.

George P. Amy was born 20 Mar 1835 and died 2 Mar 1884, and is buried in the Chapinville Cemetery.

There were eight other brothers and sisters in the family.
