Harm Jan Huidekoper
Harm Jan Huidekoper, born in Hoogeven, Holland, on April 3, 1776.
He immigrated to Philadelphia, and then on to Meadville, PA in 1804. On Sept1,
1806, he married to Miss Rebecca Colhoon, of Carlisle, Pa.
He was the founder of the Meadville Theological School, which went into
operation October 1, 1844.
