Nathan was born in Centerville, Crawford County PA June 17, 1818 and died in Excelsior, Dane County Wisconsin November 9, 1902.  He is the brother of Lawrence Winton

Rosemary Benson is a descendant of Nathan Banks Winton and Mary Barbara Otto Winton.
