David Emmet Alter David Emmet Alter was originally from Oregon, the son a of preacher. He lived in New Wilmington, PA, and graduated from Westminster College in New Wilmington in 1912. This photo was taken during his Junior year in 1911. The 1912 Argo, describes David: "His hair is a light teddy bear, some six feet above the ground. His eyes are blue...."
