Frank McArthur

Frank McArthur (b. Dec 29, 1885 in Butler Co.,
PA d. Apr 7, 1958) son of John William McArthur
of South Staffordshire, England and Ellen Shaffer
of Mercer Co. Their children were James William, Lynette,
Frank, Clara, Elizabeth, Thomas J., Katherine, John, Cecil Brinker, Nell,
Samuel, and Florence Belle.
Frank first married Cora Matilda "Tillie"
Miller (b. Oct 5, 1884 d. May 12, 1918) of Clay County, IN, on Apr 12,
1907 in Clay City, IN. Her parents were William Thomas Miller
and Lavina Fretz of Clay County, IN. Frank and Tillie had seven
children, Lavina Gilberta, Ellen Lucille, Gertrude Isabel,
James Howard, Frank Richard, Arabelle and Jean Elizabeth (twins).
Tillie died shortly after the twins were born and they also passed on within the
month.
Frank then married Edna Elmore Hammond.
Frank worked as rolling mill millwright at the Carnegie Steel Plant in New
Castle. They resided at 911 Winslow Avenue, New Castle.
