George W. and Cynthia Craven Mallory Family

The Family of George W. Mallory.  In 1881, he died in a mine cave-in in Chewton, Wayne Twp., Lawrence Co., PA. This photo was taken in about 1903 in Wayne Twp. of his widow, Cynthia Craven Mallory, his children and their spouses and some unidentified grandchildren.

First two rows, unidentified grandchildren.

Third row, left to right, Anna Mallory Gillespie, Abbie Gillespie Mallory, Annie Work Mallory, Blanch Mallory Herron, Cynthia Craven Mallory, 1839-1917 (widow of George W. Mallory), Garie Mallory Newton, May Mallory Newton, Sarah Woods Mallory and Nettie Herron (daughter of Andrew Herron).

Fourth row, Charles Gillespie, Edward Mallory, Monroe Mallory, Andrew Herron, Charles Mallory, David Newton, Alvin Newton and John Mallory.

Except for Charles Mallory, the husbands are standing behind their wives.

At the time of the photo, they all lived in Wayne Twp.
