John Gillespie

John Gillespie (sometimes spelled Gillaspee) was born in about 1824 in North Sewickley Twp., Beaver Co., Pa. His parents were Thomas Gillespie and Mary Yoho. He married Mary Ann Johnson in 1845. He was a  resident of Wayne Twp., Lawrence Co., Pa. at least until 1880. His children were:

 

  • Elizabeth born 1846

  • Mary Catherine who was born in 1849

  • Thomas Johnson who was born in 1850 and died in 1928. He married Catherine J. Ford.

  • Albert who was born in 1852 and died in 1919.

  • Elmer who was born in about 1855. He married Lizzie M. Shuler.
