Ladies Aide Society from Swedish Lutheran Church New Castle

Ladies Aide Society from Swedish Lutheran Church, New Castle, PA taken in 1910 shortly after John Ben Benson and Augusta Charlotte Benson bought their farm in New Castle.

In front of the Benson Farmhouse are:

Very front row, left to right, four Benson boys:
Ernest, Ted, John (who later inherited the farm) and Bernard Benson, the Benson's oldest son;
Kenneth Peterson (???), and an unknown boy.

Back row: Augusta Benson, is the second woman from the left side; The Benson's daughter, Alma, is 4th from the left side.

John Benson, is at the opposite end of the back row.

Anna, the Benson's oldest daughter, is the last in the back row to the right. She became a school teacher in New Castle.

Everyone else in the photograph is unknown.
