Robert McWatty Russell, D. D., L.L. D., 

 

Robert McWatty Russell served as the president of Westminster College.   He was born on his father's farm in Mercer County, PA, on 6 Apr 1858. He is a son of John T. and Jane Williamson Russell.

 

Dr. Russell married in 1888 to Caroline B. Keech, daughter of Elisha and Hannah Swan Keech. They became the parents of three children: Robert McWatty, Jane Walker, and Donald.
