John B. Albin is the son of William and Martha Walker Albin who was born and
raised in Mercer Co., Pennsylvania. John was born 03 Oct 1819 in Pine Twp.,
Mercer Co., and died 09 Aug 1895 in Findley twp., Mercer Co., Pa.,
He married Nancy Lightner, born 18 Oct 1808 in Shaver's Creek Valley, Huntingdon
Co., Pa., she died 24 Oct 1900 Findley twp., Mercer Co., Pa.
They were the parents of five children: John G., Anna M., Sarah, James Madison,
and Maria Jane. Anna M. Albin married Archibald M. Glenn.
