Russell FamilySubmitted by Nancy Young From left to right: Enoch Jason "Nickie" Russell, Mary Catherine "Mayme" Russell, and their children, Kathryn Russell Gilger and John W. "Jack" Russell. Enoch Jason "Nickie" Russell was born in 1874. He married Mary Catherine "Mayme" Diefenderfer on 26 Sept 1900, in Greenville, Mercer County, and lived at 109 S. Mercer in Greenville. He worked at Bessemer and died in 1946. Mary Catherine "Mayme" Diefenderfer was born 17 Feb 1880 in Delaware Township. She died in 1973. Their daughter, Kathryn Russell Gilger was born in 1903. She was a student at Thiel College, and then a first grade teacher. She died in 1986. Their son, John W. "Jack" Russell was born in 1908. Jack was into airplanes and race cars. He died in 1988.
