Donald Page and Mildred Peters DavisSubmitted by Carol Judy Zapolnik Donald Page Davis was born 6 Jul 1888 in Crawford County, PA, to Andrew T. and Mary Elizabeth Newbold Davis, both of Crawford Co., PA. Donald was given the middle name Page after Rev. J. P. Page, who married his parents at the Free Baptist Church in Crawford Co., PA, 3 Jun 1885. Donald graduated from Edinboro State College in 1910. He did his post graduate work at Grove City College in the summers of 1911-1914. He received a B. A. from the University of Pittsburgh in 1920; A. M. in 1930, Ph.D, 1935. He married Mildred B. Peters 28 Jun 1910, daughter of Frank Cameron Peters and Alda Lovenia Vickers Peters. Mildred Peters Davis died 25 Nov 1959. Donald Page Davis died 5 Feb 1978.
