Mill at Milburn Springfield Township Submitted by Tom Lusk, grandson of Thomas Scott Elliott The mill at Milburn, Springfield Twp., built by Thomas Scott Elliott. The 1888 History of Mercer Co. PA, page 936, says he bought 120 acres from John Campbell and built a grist mill for $8000. It burned 2 years later & was covered only by $4000 worth of insurance. In 1886, he rebuilt the mill for $6000 making it three stories with five sets of rollers.
