Kifer and Sadie Margaret Elder. Glen Kifer
was born May 16, 1856 in Riedsburg, Clarion Co., PA., and died Dec 16, 1940 in
Spokane, WA. He married Sadie Margaret Elder,
daughter of John Elder and Nancy McMunn. She
was born Sept 20, 1858 in Clarion Co, PA., and died May 25, 1936 in Cour D Aline,
ID.
They were the parents of two other children: Arthur R.
Kifer (born Dec 17, 1875, Clarion Co. Pa., d. Nov 17, 1962, Washington)
and Andrew Kifer (born 1876).
Effie Etta Kifer married
Peter Isaci Gardner, son of Leon Desjardins and
Matilda Beeson. Peter was born Feb 4, 1870 in Quebec Canada, and
died Apr 8, 1942 in Colur Dline, ID.
Effie and Peter became the parents of:
- Glen Dora Gardner, b. Mar 20, 1901, Republic,
WA, d. Oct 26, 1969, Spokane, WA.
- Vernia Gardner, b. 1905; m.
