Frances Malissa Dennis McMannis, born Apr 29, 1868
in Robinson Twp., Allegheny Co., PA, died Apr 19, 1954, 114 Fayette St.,
Oakdale, Allegheny Co., PA.
Her parents, according to her death certificate were:
George Dennis and Mae Burns. Her sister Jessie
Dennis Fife Taylor's death certificate listed John
Dennis and Jessie White as her
parents. They might have had different mothers it is believed that George and
John Dennis are one in the same.
Frances married William Daniel Page McMannis.
They became the parents of three children: Everett
McMannis; Alice Marie McMannis Sturgeon and William Ralston Mcmannis.
William and Frances are buried in the Melrose Cemetery, Bridgeville, PA along
with their son William Ralston.
Frances' other sisters were: Emma Dennis Hughes,
born August 8, 1871, Washington Co., PA and died Aug 20, 1955, New Castle,
Lawrence Co., PA husband Curt Hughes; Lucy Mae Dennis
Herron born 1859 in PA and died 1953, PA.
Frances was living at 19 Main St., Carnegie, Allegheny Co., PA at the time of
her death.
