Sarah Alexander Plants
Jesse Plants was born July 12, 1828 in East Finley
Twp, Washington county, PA died April 18, 1894, E. Finley Twp., Washington Co.,
PA. His parents were Leonard and Fanny Barney Plants.
Grandparents were Christian and Catherine Haines Plants.
Sarah Jane Alexander, was born Oct 2, 1830 East
Finley Twp, Washington County, PA died April 15, 1905, E Finley Twp., Washington
Co., PA. Her parents were Edward Graham Alexander
1792-1874 and Sarah Shoaff b: ?, died 1880.
Jesse comes from the line of Christian and Catherine
Haines Plants and there were numerous children in the East Finley area.
One branch went to WV and some went to Ohio. Many of this Plants family still
reside in the Washington County, PA and WV areas today, with a large amount
still in Ohio also.
