Application for Marriage, dated 1 May 1900, states Wincty's parents names were Peter and Alzbuta. He was married to Jozefa / Zuzefa Stowickie on 3 Jun 1900 by Father M. E. Tracey at the Slovak Catholic Church of Sacred Heart in Houtzdale, PA.

Wincty immigrated from Suwalki, Poland. He and Josefa became the parents of 10 children:  Anthony (Tony), Alexandra (Alice), Joseph, Anna, William, John, Jessie, Frank, Walter (Butch), and Irene.
